About the Job: AI Research Lead - LLM & Multimodal Post-Training

This senior role drives post-training efforts, transforming raw pre-trained LLMs into state-of-the-art products. Responsibilities include strategizing post-training methods, building robust evaluation pipelines, managing a team of researchers and engineers, and collaborating across teams to deploy innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy and execution of all post-training projects including SFT, RLHF, DPO, and SOTA methods.
  • Design evaluation pipelines to measure model quality and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge post-training ideas into production.
  • Manage and mentor a team, ensuring project delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Engage with the AI research community through publications, open-source contributions, and conferences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD, MS or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years leading research and engineering teams.
  • Expertise in modern deep learning and post-training frameworks.
  • Experience with end-to-end LLM and multimodal foundation models on multi-node GPU clusters.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in large-scale supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term strategic visions while managing technical details.
