About the role
Solar Maintenance Electrician
Tesla's Field Energy Service team is seeking a dedicated Solar Maintenance Electrician to help accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. You will work with the latest solar technology, build strong team relationships, and ensure the safe and timely installation of our products.
What You'll Do
- Support the Crew Lead and Electrician in servicing and maintaining Tesla’s solar products.
- Attend weekly team meetings and mandatory training sessions.
- Follow building codes and standards during installation and servicing.
- Assist with routine maintenance on energy systems.
- Manage time effectively and provide an exceptional customer experience.
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of relevant electrical experience, including 1 year of solar PV experience.
- Valid state journeyman electrician license.
- Understanding of NEC codes for solar PV installations.
- Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and related electrical equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and attendance skills.
- Must be able to travel up to two weeks at a time, several times a year.
- Ability to work at heights, in extreme environments, perform repetitive duties, and lift 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license required.
