About the role

Licensed Electrician - Residential Energy Operations

Join Tesla’s Energy Field Operations team as a skilled Licensed Electrician. You will play a key role in the installation of residential PV solar systems, Solar Roof, battery storage, and EV wall connectors. This position offers the opportunity to provide essential electrical expertise, contributing to the successful deployment of Tesla’s innovative energy products. Comprehensive training, tools, and equipment will be provided. Some positions include a company vehicle.

What You'll Do

Complete residential Main Panel Upgrades (MPU).
Collaborate with peers and leadership to evaluate job requirements and costs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical component and system issues.
Lead initiatives focused on safe work practices for the Field Operations team.
Provide exceptional customer service by educating clients and offering real-time job status updates.
Document and update job status in the company database.
Participate in training sessions and weekly team meetings covering new products, installation methods, and safety protocols.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

A valid state Journeyman Electrician License and a strong understanding of NEC codes.
Ability to work at heights, including rooftops, and climb ladders and stairs.
