Business Intelligence Analyst, Sales and Services Infrastructure Development
Tesla has big plans to expand in EMEA and build multiple service centers in different countries. If you would like to be part of the team which makes this happen, then this position is for you.
The Sales and Service Infrastructure Development team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to support our team by analyzing and visualizing data to make more educated decisions on how to successfully expand our network in EMEA.
As Data Analyst, you will ensure that the large datasets we have are effectively utilized by the leadership team. You will interact with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including Real Estate, Design, Construction, Sales, Service, Facility Management as well as executives on a regular basis and hence require the ability to compartmentalize requests and formulate applicable data-driven solutions. You will require a sharp business focus, a collaborative style of working, and a proactive and critical mindset. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills are crucial, as is the ability to synthesize complex issues, and drive desired outcomes. Tesla is a fast moving, dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes. The successful candidate is a self-starter with a passion for data analytics and continuously demonstrates an ability to tackle complex problems and implement solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines from multiple sources (Dataverse, Fexa, etc.), developing and optimizing ETL workflows using Python and Airflow
- Implement and maintain data quality frameworks and version control best practices using Git/GitHub
- Conduct descriptive and exploratory analysis to deliver insights on cost, timeline, and quality metrics across EMEA infrastructure development operations
- Analyze construction project timelines, costs and quality to establish baseline performance metrics, identify optimization opportunities, and track operational KPIs
- Create intuitive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools, and develop self-service analytics capabilities for stakeholders
- Act as the liaison for all internal data analysis requests, coordinating requirements and presenting complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Independently manage multiple projects, demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, take ownership of deliverables and relationships, and continuously learn new technologies to improve processes
What You'll Bring
- Experience within a quantitative field (Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics) or evidence of exceptional ability
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, visualization, and communication, with prior full-time work experience in a relevant area
- Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, and Git for data manipulation, pipeline development, and collaborative version control
- Experience implementing APIs and creating dashboards/visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects with demanding deadlines
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and propose data-driven solutions
