Overview

Tesla is seeking an innovative Business Integration Engineer in the Technical Operations team. The role integrates business and regulatory policies into streamlined systems and controls within the Service organization. This position directly impacts billing accuracy, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation by combining software product development, compliance, and finance.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee correction-code controls, internal automation, and billing audit guardrails.
  • Structure ambiguous policy or technical scenarios into repeatable frameworks.
  • Design rule attributes and deploy backend rules engines with phased rollouts.
  • Collaborate with field stakeholders to pilot new logics and workflows.
  • Identify opportunities, design solutions, and present analyses to senior leadership.
  • Develop ROI analyses, automated tests, and performance monitoring systems.
  • Automate reporting and audits to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree or proven professional experience in relevant fields.
  • Experience in feature testing, user scenario design, and basic UX awareness.
  • Proficiency in writing production-quality code in Python and SQL.
  • Product management mindset, strong analytical skills, and business acumen.
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail, collaboration, and time management.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed for stakeholder collaboration.

Compensation

Expected Compensation: $100,000 - $186,000 annually plus cash and stock awards and benefits. Pay may vary depending on experience, location, and skills.
