Position Summary
The Content Data Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing large-scale parts and catalog data using industry standards such as ACES and PIES to drive product listings, catalog coverage, and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze large automotive datasets ensuring ACES and PIES compliance.
- Create in-depth vehicle coverage analysis by product category.
- Support catalog exports based on specific customer requirements.
- Manipulate large OE application datasets for the Content team.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools to monitor part development and product coverage.
- Provide recommendations for third-party content management solutions.
- Participate in system upgrades and data normalization projects.
- Develop written processes to ensure data integrity and normalization.
- Validate and update internal systems with content data loads.
- Review catalog validation reports submitted by customers.
- Manage image workflow from receipt through processing and submittal.
- Collaborate with Content, Product Management, and Data Receivers/Customer teams.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent automotive aftermarket experience.
- Proficient in Access, SQL, and data manipulation tools.
- Knowledgeable of ACES and PIES data standards and mapping.
- Understanding of vehicle fitment logic and mapping.
- Familiarity with automotive catalog platforms (Epicor, WHI, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a catalog or parts analyst in the automotive aftermarket.
- Self-motivated with leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with image processing and management is a plus.
