Job Summary

The Human Resources Generalist will support full-spectrum HR functions with a focus on HR administration, employee inquiries, recruitment, benefits administration and payroll processes in a multi-state environment. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and expertise in California employment law.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Administration: Maintain employee records in HRIS, conduct monthly audits, support policy implementation, manage LOAs and employee inquiries, prepare HR reports, and ensure legal compliance.
  • Payroll Assistance: Coordinate with Payroll Administrator on onboarding/offboarding, verify timesheets and attendance, update HRIS for status changes, and handle wage garnishments.
  • Training and Development: Organize training sessions, maintain calendars, communicate schedules, and track training records.
  • Performance Management: Support performance review cycles, provide guidance on feedback and goal setting, and analyze performance data.
  • General HR Support: Assist recruitment processes, manage employee benefits inquiries, and ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and 5-7 years of relevant HR experience, including payroll processing, HRIS management and in-depth knowledge of California employment law, are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
