About the Role

Tenstorrent is leading the industry in cutting-edge AI technology and revolutionizing performance expectations, ease of use, and cost efficiency. As a Product Development Engineer, you will work on high-performance designs for industry leading AI/ML architectures. This role drives cost, quality, and time-to-market KPIs during new product introduction from pre-silicon planning through high volume manufacturing and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand product IP, chiplets, and SOCs usage.
  • Conduct investigations and analysis to resolve quality and reliability issues.
  • Analyze manufacturing test data and identify failure mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with design teams, test owners, and customer engineers.
  • Drive silicon bring-up, debug processes, and production feedback.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Applicants should have a BS/MS/PhD in EE/ECE/CE/CS with a minimum of 5 years industry experience and advanced testing technique knowledge. Experience with SLT, ATE, new product introduction, and high-volume production is required. Scripting skills in C/C++, Python, Perl, Java, Bugzilla, TCL, or Ruby are essential.

Work Environment & Locations

This is a hybrid role based out of Santa Clara, CA, Austin, TX, Fort Collins, CO or Toronto, Canada. The work involves close collaboration with multiple stakeholders across Tenstorrent.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation ranges from $100k to $500k, including base and variable awards, based on experience, skills, location and education.
