What We'll Accomplish Together
As a Digital Health Privacy Advisor, you will influence TELUS's health sector innovation efforts. Your ability to provide analysis and advice, combined with a strong interest in privacy, will meet TELUS Health's data and privacy needs. You will ensure all initiatives adhere to our rigorous privacy, security, and ethical standards. You will collaborate with and guide the business on privacy and data matters in a way that aligns with TELUS's commitment to prioritizing customers and their privacy.
You will also be an integral part of the TELUS Health Privacy team, participating in privacy impact assessments. You will create initiative directories and tools, and provide advice within a healthcare context. You will ensure TELUS Health can implement best practices and innovative privacy solutions to earn customer trust. You will champion the TELUS Trust model as a fundamental driver of all our data, privacy, and innovation decisions, given the essential role trust plays in TELUS's mission.
This offer will be in effect until approximately December 1, 2027.

Your Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in analyst, consulting, or planning roles.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conceptualize, research, analyze, and present relevant information.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing legislative and regulatory requirements globally.
- Experience with digital health systems such as Electronic Health Records and Clinical Information Systems.
- Experience in vendor and third-party risk management.
- Demonstrated understanding of privacy best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
- A desire to engage and inform people internally and externally.
- Ability to protect the TELUS brand and demonstrate a drive to assess major impacts and mitigate risks effectively.
- Ability to tackle challenges with creative solutions.
- Adaptability in a demanding and dynamic environment.
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field.
- IAPP certification (or a desire to obtain one within 6 months).
