Role Overview: Pension Analyst
Join our team to support plan members with all matters related to their pension plan. In this role, you will use your analytical skills daily, process pension transactions, and ensure quality control while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Process interfund transfers, contributions, withdrawals, and terminations.
- Generate regular and ad hoc client reports.
- Respond to inquiries from plan members and clients.
- Enter, update, audit, and proof transactions using in-house software.
- Perform monthly reconciliations and liaise with consultants and investment representatives.
- Keep updated on pension, tax, and securities legislation.
- Participate in internal training and special projects.
What You Bring
- 1-2 years experience in a customer-focused role in the pension industry.
- Basic knowledge of provincial pension and tax legislation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English; French is an asset.
- Relevant degree or equivalent work experience, with CSC or IFIC designation being a plus.
