Role Summary
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Study Moderators to support an in-person research study in Los Angeles, CA. Study Moderators will engage directly with study participants, following established protocols to ensure smooth session flow and accurate data collection. This role requires basic technical skills, professionalism, and consistency. Study Moderators will report to the Site Manager(s) and receive full training prior to the start of data collection.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare study rooms and devices in advance of each session.
- Guide participants through a structured video study in a controlled environment.
- Ensure all video recordings are conducted according to project guidelines and properly uploaded.
- Administer post-session surveys to all participants.
- Follow COVID-19 sanitization procedures between sessions.
- Represent and promote the TELUS AI brand in a professional manner.
- Support the team with a variety of operational tasks as needed.
- Adapt to evolving project needs based on organizational or client needs and priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic technical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to resolve issues related to app launching and data uploading.
- Familiarity with iOS and macOS environments.
- Experience in data collection and data management.
- Comfortable with video recording equipment and procedures.
Additional Job Description
The focus of this user study is to generate indoor data via wearable devices and collect video recordings of each participant. The Study Moderator will guide participants through a series of tasks. Each moderated session will last 90 minutes.
