Online Task Contributor - United States

TELUS Digital is hiring for Online Task Contributors in the United States. In this role, you will assess online search results to enhance their quality by analyzing and rating content relevance to search terms, and reviewing language for grammar, tone, and cultural appropriateness. Your contribution will improve a major search engine's quality by evaluating web content using your PC and smartphone.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze and rate search result relevance to search terms.
  • Review language for grammar, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
  • Evaluate web content using your PC and smartphone.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in written and verbal English.
  • Residency in the United States for the past three consecutive years.
  • Ownership and regular use of a smartphone (Android V5.0 or higher or iPhone running iOS version 14.0 or higher) and a desktop/laptop with internet connection at your expense.
  • Gmail as your primary email account.
  • Familiarity with current and historical local business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural affairs.
  • Experience navigating web browsers and smartphone apps for content interaction.
  • Willingness to download Apps.
  • Understanding of various social media environments, including memes, virality, and trends.

Additional Desirable Equipment:

  • Laptop with video camera and/or Android Device with minimum 8MP HDR camera @ 30fps, 64GB storage, 4GB RAM, Android 10+.

Recruitment Process:

Successful applicants will undergo a standard recruitment process, including an English language test and an open book assessment.
