About the EPM Developer - Software Engineer Role

This critical position serves as the subject matter expert for Oracle EPM Cloud solutions. The role involves designing, developing, implementing, and supporting new solutions as well as troubleshooting live issues. The candidate will work closely with external support partners and the internal FP&A team.

Responsibilities

  • Support Oracle Cloud EPM applications (FCCS and EPBCS).
  • Enhance functionality including metadata, calculation scripts, business rules, web forms, SmartView, and security.
  • Support Oracle Cloud EPM data integrations from the Fusion ERP environment.
  • Develop and support data integrations using DM scripts, EPM automate scripts, and batch scripting.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and finance teams on system design and support.
  • Provide end-user support and manage monthly application maintenance & patching.
  • Adhere to change management practices and data security policies.
  • Manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and work outside normal hours as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years in IT with a focus on Oracle EPM suite (Essbase, FCCS, EPBCS, DM, EPM Automate, Groovy scripting, SmartView).
  • 2+ years supporting Oracle Cloud EPM Financial applications including integrations and batch scripting.
  • Experience in architecting, developing, and implementing Oracle Cloud EPM.
  • Knowledge of relational databases with SQL Developer or TOAD tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Hyperion and/or EPM Certification.
  • Understanding of Oracle Database and SQL concepts.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
