Remote Client Coordinator - Healthcare Data Entry

TEKsystems is seeking a Remote Client Coordinator to support a major healthcare client. This role is primarily focused on managing medical records and Independent Medical Reviews (IMRs), ensuring accurate data entry and processing within established systems.

Role Overview

As a Remote Client Coordinator, you will be responsible for taking in information from clients and accurately entering it into the designated systems. A significant part of this role involves handling Independent Medical Reviews (IMRs). You will log new case information, process it through to the next stage, extract data from incoming forms, and input it precisely into Microsoft Word or Excel documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process client information for medical records and IMRs.
  • Log new cases and ensure data is accurately recorded.
  • Extract relevant data from various forms for entry.
  • Input data into Microsoft Word and Excel with high precision.
  • Process information to move cases to the next stage.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess a strong understanding of data handling and confidentiality, alongside proficiency in key software.

  • **Microsoft Word:** Ability to turn documents into PDFs and insert tables.
  • **Microsoft Excel:** Proficiency in using Pivot Tables and inserting columns.
  • **HIPAA Awareness:** A fundamental understanding of HIPAA regulations, particularly regarding the handling of sensitive health information and preventing unauthorized access.
  • **Soft Skills:** Demonstrable reliability, accuracy, and thoroughness in all tasks.

Work Environment & Schedule

This is a fully remote, contract position. Candidates must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST. You are required to have access to your own laptop or desktop computer that supports Windows 11.

Compensation & Benefits
