About the Role: Jira Administrator at TEKsystems for Adobe

Join Adobe's Enterprise Tools team through TEKsystems as a Jira Administrator. This role is crucial for product development, focusing on designing, building, improving, supporting, and maintaining one of the world's largest and most complex Jira Data Center installations. You will also play a key part in the migration to Atlassian Cloud Stack. Adobe is renowned for developing world-changing products, maintaining a strong position as a high-tech success story.

What You'll Do

• Manage on-premises tools and perform application-level upgrades.
• Troubleshoot, proactively optimize applications, and perform necessary cleanup.
• Educate engineering teams on best practices for Jira usage.
• Create, maintain, and improve monitoring and alerting systems using NewRelic and Splunk.
• Expand self-service capabilities by identifying and building tools and automations for users and admins.
• Collaborate with infrastructure support teams to ensure software and hardware are updated and patched.
• Evaluate Atlassian Cloud solutions and prepare for the upcoming Jira Cloud migration.

What You'll Need To Succeed

This role requires a collaborative mindset balanced with the ability to work independently. Key skills and experiences include:

• 5+ years of Jira Data Center system administration experience at an enterprise level.
• 2+ years of Jira Cloud system administration experience at an enterprise level.
• Proven hands-on experience with Jira Cloud preparation and migration.
• A growing knowledge and passion for AI systems.
• Accountability for both front-end and back-end technical challenges within an enterprise data center environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in RedHat Linux system administration and programming.
• Fluency with Java, various scripting languages, Oracle, and SQL databases.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian products, GitHub, and orchestration tools.
• Experience with enterprise-level tool integrations, specifically Jira and GitHub.
• A strong customer support mindset with the ability to clearly communicate complex engineering initiatives to both technical and non-technical users.

Additional Skills & Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to Confluence Cloud and Confluence Cloud migration experience.
• AWS knowledge or similar experience with other public cloud offerings.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position, fully remote, but based out of San Jose, CA. The application deadline is anticipated to be February 19, 2026.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
