Job Description
Entry Level Banking Role
Our client, one of the Big 5 banks in Canada, is currently hiring for entry level back office roles to help support their office located in the downtown Montreal area.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform FX settlements and reconciliation for trades executed by the Wealth department.
- Compare trade details against intended FX deals and approve transactions in the system.
- Process and verify settlements using Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, and shared folders (no dedicated platform).
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while handling high volumes (50–150 trades/reconciliations per day).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and, over time, external investment analysts.
- Adhere to operational calendars (aligned with Canadian banking holidays); minimal overtime required.
Required Skills and Experience
- Must be Bilingual in English and French (Strong Written and Verbal Communication)
- Have basic knowledge of finance/investments/etc (Can be from education, certifications, etc.)
- Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge (Basic Excel Functions)

Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
