About the Education Training Specialist Role at TEKsystems
Our client, a global leader in technology solutions, is seeking an experienced Education Training Specialist. This role involves designing and delivering impactful professional learning programs for K-12 educators and administrators. You will play a crucial part in enabling schools to adopt cutting-edge AI solutions like Copilot and other education technologies through engaging virtual and in-person training sessions. Collaboration with stakeholders, project management, and representing our client in educator forums are key aspects of this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver professional learning programs for K-12 educators and administrators.
- Enable schools to adopt AI solutions such as Copilot and other education technologies.
- Conduct engaging virtual and in-person training sessions.
- Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timelines and coordination are met.
- Represent the client in educator forums and professional networks.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience in K-12 or secondary education (teaching, administration, or consulting).
- Proven ability to deliver engaging training sessions in both virtual and in-person formats.
- Strong knowledge of education-focused technology tools: Microsoft 365, Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Minecraft Education.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with executive presence.
- Project management experience, including managing timelines and stakeholder coordination.
- Familiarity with AI literacy frameworks, digital safety, and ethical technology use in education.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with global education systems and localization of training content.
- Familiarity with licensing structures for education technology solutions.
- Background in nonprofit or civil society skilling initiatives.
- Knowledge of educator recognition programs (e.g., MIE Experts, Showcase Schools).
- Experience supporting credentialing programs and digital badging.
