About the AI Chatbot Product Manager Role at TEKsystems
TEKsystems is seeking an AI Chatbot Product Manager to lead and execute our Conversational AI initiatives, focusing specifically on an Assistant chatbot. This vital role involves comprehensive journey mapping, precise requirement writing, user story creation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and meticulous release management to guarantee the timely delivery of high-quality chatbot experiences. You will collaborate closely with the Lead Product Manager, Conversation Designer, Authors, and various cross-functional teams to transform strategic goals into actionable and impactful deliverables.
What You’ll Do
- Translate product vision and high-level requirements into detailed conversational requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with engineering and QA teams to manage sprint planning and ensure timely project delivery.
- Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new chatbot features and conversational flows.
- Support all release management activities, including essential documentation and comprehensive stakeholder communication.
- Work alongside conversational designers and NLP specialists to refine intents, utterances, and the chatbot's taxonomy.
- Validate chatbot responses to ensure strict alignment with established conversational design principles.
- Act as a crucial liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, fostering clarity and alignment.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, potential risks, and interdependencies.
- Maintain and actively groom the product backlog in collaborative efforts with engineering and design teams.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience in product management or business analysis, with a strong preference for Conversational AI, chatbots, or Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Hands-on experience with requirement writing, crafting user stories, and applying agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with leading conversational AI platforms, such as Google Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, or Microsoft Bot Framework.
- A robust understanding of intent modeling, core NLP concepts, and effective chatbot testing strategies.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Proven experience with UAT coordination and comprehensive release management.
- B2B experience is a valuable asset.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of AI ethics and the establishment of guardrails for responsible chatbot behavior.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while expertly managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
