Data Privacy Specialist
We are seeking an independent and driven Data Privacy Specialist with 3–4 years’ experience to join our Legal team. In this role, you will lead privacy compliance, manage our Privacy Information Management System (PIMS), oversee vendor compliance, and drive privacy initiatives across both conventional and AI-powered technologies.
- Implement and maintain the PIMS framework across business entities.
- Perform PIAs, DPIAs, AI-specific assessments and system data mapping.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy, PbD, and ethical AI.
- Conduct compliance monitoring, vendor due diligence, and privacy risk assessments.
- Deliver privacy and ethical AI training and support audit and incident management.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of professional experience in data privacy, with hands-on experience in PIA/DPIA execution, privacy control, and vendor due diligence. Familiarity with global privacy laws (CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, UK DPA, PIPEDA), AI governance frameworks, and ISO 27701/27001 implementation is required. Experience with privacy/GRC tools and a strong ability to work independently are essential.
