Role Overview: Senior DevOps Engineer

Based in Montreal, you will be part of a team responsible for the tools and processes needed to deliver software to customers. You will collaborate closely with the operations team to automate deployments and improve the CI/CD process.

Responsibilities

  • Design and create tooling for CI/CD orchestration.
  • Develop and refine build and packaging processes.
  • Maintain monitoring infrastructure for a resilient platform.
  • Explore new infrastructure and development tools.
  • Promote DevOps practices across teams.
  • Automate manual processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Helm and GitOps practices/tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their CLI integration.
  • Hands on experience with Automation Tools and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Proficiency in bash and/or python scripting.
  • Expertise in container design and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Gitlab-CI, Artifactory).
  • Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Belief in DevOps philosophies.
  • Additional edge: Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, Istio, Java, Agile methods, bilingualism.
