Job Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Montréal, you will join a team that builds and maintains CI/CD tools and processes, working closely with operations to deploy our solutions quickly, reliably, and predictably. You will drive automation and play a crucial role in bridging developers, quality assurance, and system administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Design and create tools for orchestrating CI/CD processes.
  • Develop and improve compilation and packaging processes.
  • Maintain monitoring infrastructure for a resilient platform.
  • Explore new infrastructure and development tools.
  • Promote DevOps practices between development, QA, and systems teams.
  • Automate manual processes wherever possible.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with Helm and GitOps practices/tools.
  • Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms and their CLIs.
  • Hands-on with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Proficiency in Bash and/or Python scripting.
  • Competence in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Gitlab-CI, Artifactory).
  • College or university degree in computer science or software engineering.
  • Belief in DevOps culture.
  • Strong English communication skills; bilingual (English/French) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of modern authentication protocols (OAuth2, OIDC).
  • Understanding of service meshes, especially Istio.
  • Software development experience in Java.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or XP.

Additional Information
