At Oesia Group, we are growing! We are looking for a Project Manager Defense Programs to join an important project located in Madrid, operating in a hybrid job modality.

What are we looking for?

An experienced Project Manager Defense Programs with at least 10 years of experience. This role offers the availability to join a stable project in Madrid, working a complete schedule in a hybrid model. A Master's degree is preferred.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing defense or aerospace projects, preferably in avionics, secure systems, or space technologies.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMI, PRINCE2, and Agile, along with proficiency in MS Project.
• Experience with regulated environments and military standards (e.g., MIL-STD, STANAG, DO-178C, DO-254).
• Proficiency in project management tools including MS Project, Jira, and Primavera.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Lead the planning, execution, and control of defense-related engineering projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring alignment with contractual and strategic goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including systems, hardware, software, and ILS engineers.
• Ensure compliance with defense standards, security protocols, and customer requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage changes, and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interface with clients, partners, and suppliers to ensure project alignment and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Prepare and present project documentation, including schedules, reports, and technical reviews.
• Support contract execution, procurement planning, and quality assurance.
• Promote continuous improvement and contribute to the evolution of project management practices.
