Role Overview

The Curriculum Specialist Social Studies Business will create engaging lessons and activities that integrate STEM tools with core content standards. This role serves as a subject-matter expert for teachers and professional learning consultants, contributes to curriculum writing in a collaborative environment, and ensures alignment with state-specific and national standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create lessons and activities that integrate STEM tools with core content standards.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert for teachers and consultants.
• Align instructional resources to state and national standards.
• Participate in a collaborative, rapid curriculum development process.
• Engage in remote, part-time contract work with potential for future projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and valid teacher certification.
• Experience in MS/HS Social Studies areas: History, Economics, Business, Psychology.
• Proficiency in technology using tools such as Google Sheets or Excel.
• Strong creative, self-motivated, and organized approach.
• Commitment to client satisfaction with a growth mindset.
