We are looking for a highly motivated SRE Intern to support our reliability and infrastructure engineering efforts. You will work closely with senior engineers to maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems while gaining hands-on experience with modern cloud-native technologies.

About the Role:

Title: AWS DevOps Intern / Site Reliability Engineering Intern
Location: Remote work
Employment Type: 6 Month Internship followed by PPO
Work Timings: 24*7 Rotational shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Support Kubernetes-based deployments using EKS and containerized workloads (Docker).
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and optimization using GitHub Actions.
  • Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for provisioning and managing resources.
  • Monitor system performance and reliability using observability tools (e.g., Datadog or similar).
  • Troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident response, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and deployment processes.
  • Assist in implementing security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
  • Participate in on-call/rotation shifts to support production environments.

Required Skills (Foundational):

  • 6 Months of AWS services: EKS, VPC Networking, IAM, SQS, and Security fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (preferably GitHub Actions).
  • Exposure to Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
