AWS DevOps Intern - 2025/2026 Graduates
We are looking for a highly motivated SRE Intern to support our reliability and infrastructure engineering efforts. You will work closely with senior engineers to maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems while gaining hands-on experience with modern cloud-native technologies.
Position Overview
Title: AWS DevOps Intern / Site Reliability Engineering Intern
Location: Remote work
Employment Type: 6 Month Internship followed by PPO
Work Timings: 24*7 Rotational shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Support Kubernetes-based deployments using EKS and containerized workloads (Docker).
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and optimization using GitHub Actions.
- Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for provisioning and managing resources.
- Monitor system performance and reliability using observability tools (e.g., Datadog or similar).
- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident response, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and deployment processes.
- Assist in implementing security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
- Participate in on-call/rotation shifts to support production environments.
Required Skills (Foundational)
- 6 Months of AWS services: EKS, VPC Networking, IAM, SQS, and Security fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (preferably GitHub Actions).
- Exposure to Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
- Basic understanding of incident management and monitoring concepts.
Preferred / Advanced Skills
- Experience or exposure to API gateways like Kong.
- Working knowledge of Python or Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog or similar).
- Understanding of service mesh technologies like Istio.
