We are currently seeking a Junior Solution Architect, reporting directly to Enterprise Architect Director to join our Digital for Operational Excellence team based in Nanterre, Paris, France.

About the role:

The Junior Support Function Solution Architect is providing dedicated support for the business development and Support Function sub-domain, within T.EN, ensuring alignment between enterprise architecture principles, business architecture, and product delivery. This role acts as a bridge between business needs and digital platforms, defining solution’s architecture under the umbrella of the Product Lead and driving coherence, innovation, and operational efficiency within the product's lifecycle. This role involves participating in the product’s Framing phase and Design Phase, supporting the Execution Phase, and delivering documentation during the whole product lifecycle, especially Product Architecture Reference Document architecture reviews and finally promoting any action which can help reducing the T.EN technical debt requested by the Enterprise Architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Business and Technology Alignment (under the supervision of Product Lead)

• Engage with Product teams to understand product business requirements and priorities, and assist in aligning business goals and Digiteam architecture principles.
• Translate business needs into a solution design that fits within TEN's enterprise architecture framework (Business Architecture).
• Participate in challenging business requests by assessing value, complexity, dependencies, and long-term sustainability.
• Engage Business Teams in the Business Architecture Processes.
• Participate in guiding business transformation Act as a consultant to guide business transformation initiatives and ensure architecture decisions enable business agility and innovation.
• Participate to Make or Buy Decisions when required.
• Assist Business in identification of Information dependencies when defining Product Business Architecture, especially with other domains.
• Describe Products Business Capabilities and Business Services using Enterprise Architecture standards.
• Participate to Application rationalization on the Domain he/she is working on.

Solution Architecture Design and Delivery

• Define and maintain the current and future state solution architecture of the assigned product.
• Design Product’s solution architecture with standards approved technical applications.
• Use Solution Building Blocks and standards technical designs to accelerate solution definitions.
• Work closely with data architecture teams to define data exchanges patterns fitting the business requirements. Follow Data sharing protocols.
• With the help of Product Lead, Support agile delivery by guiding development teams in implementing scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions.
• Ensure development teams understand architectural standards, constraints, and integration patterns.
• Is accountable of technical architecture alignment with solution architecture.
• Is accountable of technical description of the digital product in the CMDB.
• Ensure traceability of application’s Business or Solution changes.
• Foster collaboration between business, developers, data teams, and platform teams to maintain delivery flow.

Solution Architect Standards activities

• Coordinate with solution architect(s) working on the same domain.
• Report and forecast activities and manage its workload.
• Communicate with Platforms teams to follow upcoming services.
• Participate in the solution architecture community.
• Facilitate Architecture principles adoption but the whole product team.
• Use the tooling provided to Solution Architects.
• Ensure Application’s performance by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks across domain’s applications.
• Propose refactoring scenario on obsolete applications.
• Avoid data duplication and costly Data Storage.
• Ensure all the applications portfolio is up to date with last Cyber Security requirements.

Innovation

• Participate to new technologies selection and adoption with platform owners when existing portfolio is limited.
• Assist business product owner and product Lead on Proof Of Value or Prototypes when requested.
• Participate to AI promotion when it makes sense.
