We are currently looking for a Control & Safety Systems Specialist (M/F) to join our Electrical & Instrumentation team based in Villeurbanne (69).

About The Role
As a Control Systems Specialist, you will work at the heart of industrial projects to design, define, and implement control and safety systems. You will be a key contributor to the technical, economic, and operational performance of installations, working closely with project teams, partners, and clients.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and technical expertise
- Develop the control philosophy and architecture of control and safety systems
- Define and steer technological choices in line with project requirements
- Optimize costs and schedules through sound and well-controlled technical decisions
- Prepare technical specifications, subcontracting scopes of work, and requisitions
Technical coordination and interfaces
- Coordinate interfaces with related disciplines: HSE Design, Process, Commissioning
- Ensure technical coordination with partners, affiliated centers, and clients
- Organize and lead technical meetings with suppliers, partners, and clients
- Organize and coordinate the follow-up of client comments
Procurement and subcontracting management
- Manage the entire procurement cycle for control and safety systems
- Organize and supervise internal and external engineering subcontracting
- Review and approve technical documentation issued by the team and subcontractors
Project support and commissioning
- Support the project in the analysis of cost variations
- Organize, in coordination with Inspection, the preparation and execution of system FATs
- Support the project manager in specific technical management activities
- Organize and facilitate working groups dedicated to control systems
