The Human Resources & Administration Specialist at Technical Management Group Ltd. (TMG) is a collaborative, experienced professional based in Toronto. Reporting to the President, this role involves managing HR functions, corporate administration, and accounting support to ensure effective corporate operations across regional offices.
Corporate Human Resources (60% capacity)
This position is responsible for advising on personnel policies, managing internal resource forecasts, implementing employee development and performance management programs, administering benefits and payroll, supporting onboarding, and managing contractor databases. The role also involves coaching, mentoring, and ensuring compliance with local employment laws.
- Advise on personnel policies and performance management
- Support resource allocation and recruitment efforts

Corporate Administration (25% capacity)
This segment covers risk management, legal support, managing software and hardware assets, coordinating operations meetings, and handling grant applications and quality plan development.
- Manage asset registers and IT vendor relationships
- Coordinate strategic planning and operations meetings
- Oversee contract renewals and corporate policies
- Administer marketing and communication programs
Corporate Accounting (15% capacity)
Support involves preparing budgets, tracking financial performance, and reconciling accounts, including monthly reconciliation of credit card transactions and maintaining banking relationships.

Core Qualifications & Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. A minimum of 5–7 years in HR and administrative roles, preferably in multi-office/project-driven environments. Strong communication, coaching, interpersonal skills, and high emotional intelligence are essential.
