About the Role

The Sr. Technical Product Manager role requires 8+ years of experience in building B2C/D2C products at scale. The candidate must combine product strategy with technical fluency, owning roadmaps from discovery through launch, and partnering with engineering, design, data, and go‑to‑market teams. Experience in sports, media, or entertainment is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle for high‑impact consumer features across web and mobile.
  • Translate strategy into execution through clear roadmaps, MVPs, PRDs, and backlog management.
  • Lead technical discovery with engineering and data teams to ensure feasibility and scalability.
  • Ship data‑to‑consumer experiences balancing user experience, latency, and cost.
  • Integrate third‑party services including identity, payments, subscriptions, analytics, A/B testing, and DRM.
  • Define success metrics, run A/B tests, and improve acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Support.
  • Navigate compliance and rights such as GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, and accessibility requirements.
  • Effectively communicate progress, risks, and data‑backed recommendations to executives.

Must Requirements

  • 8+ years in product management with 5+ years on consumer apps/platforms.
  • Technical fluency in modern architectures (REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, cloud, etc.).
  • Data product mindset and experience with event taxonomies, CDPs, and real‑time personalization.
  • Domain experience in sports, media, or entertainment industries.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and prioritization frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Based in London, UK; must work in-office 4 days per week.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with sports data providers and rights/blackout logic.
  • Familiarity with subscriptions, growth loops, ad tech, DRM, and OTT ecosystems.
  • Background in event operations or fan engagement communities.

Location & Salary

Based in London, England W6 0ED. Applicants must be authorized to work in the UK. Salary range is approximately £70 – £85 per hour.
