Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Junior Cloud Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure team. In this role, you will assist in designing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and applications. You will work alongside senior engineers to support cloud operations, automate routine tasks, and help ensure the security, availability, and performance of cloud environments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
1–4 years of experience in cloud computing or IT infrastructure.
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN).
Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Digital Leader certification.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
Basic knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus.
