Job Description

Strategic Content Producer at TD

The Strategic & Editorial Content (SEC) Group at TD Wealth serves as the content center of excellence, focusing on developing editorial and strategic content that showcases TD Wealth's expertise and thought leadership to clients globally. This team comprises skilled content professionals who combine editorial, production, creative, and technical expertise to craft industry-leading financial content across digital and broadcast platforms. Key SEC properties include MoneyTalk "Brought to you by TD," available on moneytalkgo.com and distributed across TD ecosystems; MoneyTalk Live, streamed daily via TD WebBroker; and MoneyTalk on BNN Bloomberg, broadcast weekly, along with various live and original programming on digital and social channels.

As a Strategic Content Producer, you will be instrumental in leading the development and execution of high-impact corporate video and editorial content. This work supports senior executives and critical business priorities across TD Wealth and the wider TD enterprise. You will act as a trusted creative and strategic partner to leaders, adept at translating complex business strategies, organizational priorities, and market perspectives into clear, compelling, and polished content for both internal and external audiences.

This opportunity is ideal for a super-charged self-starter with sharp editorial judgment, a strong grasp of corporate communications, executive tone, enterprise storytelling, and the production experience necessary to deliver content that informs, aligns, and inspires colleagues and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Executive Content & Corporate Storytelling: Partner closely with senior leaders to conceptualize and produce strategic corporate content, including executive videos, leadership messages, event content, and enterprise-wide communications. Translate business strategy, performance objectives, and organizational direction into clear, engaging scripts and narratives. Develop executive-ready scripts, talking points, and briefing materials, ensuring alignment with corporate tone, voice, and messaging standards. Provide comprehensive coaching, preparation, and rehearsal support for executives and senior subject-matter experts appearing on camera.
  • Strategic Alignment & Business Understanding: Cultivate a deep understanding of TD Wealth and TD enterprise priorities to guarantee content directly supports key business objectives and initiatives. Serve as a strategic advisor to partners, assisting in refining business requests into effective content strategies and formats. Create detailed creative briefs that outline purpose, target audience, key messaging, tone, and success metrics. Ensure all content contributes to enterprise narratives, change initiatives, and leadership communications.
  • Project Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Lead projects comprehensively from initial intake through final delivery, serving as the primary liaison for executive offices and business partners. Manage timelines, secure approvals, and coordinate dependencies with multiple senior stakeholders. Maintain clear communication channels and ensure alignment at all critical milestones. Effectively balance competing priorities while upholding stringent quality and professionalism standards.
  • Creative & Production Oversight: Oversee creative development, scriptwriting, and story structure to guarantee clarity, accuracy, and executive-level polish. Coordinate seamlessly with internal production teams (video, design, motion, editors) and external partners as necessary. Attend and actively support recordings and shoots to ensure content meets all creative, technical, and messaging standards. Ensure all content consistently reflects TD’s brand guidelines, accessibility requirements, and overall quality expectations.
  • Quality, Governance & Risk Management: Ensure all content adheres to legal, compliance, accessibility, and brand requirements within a highly regulated environment. Manage review and approval workflows in collaboration with risk, legal, and communications partners. Proactively embed appropriate disclosures, language, and regulatory considerations early in the development process. Manage bilingual and translation requirements as needed.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience producing corporate or executive-level content within a complex, regulated organization.
  • 5+ years in writing for corporate content/tone, executive scripting, and enterprise storytelling.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with senior leaders and executive offices.
  • Proven ability to translate complex strategy into clear, audience-focused communication.
