Job Description
Support and lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of digital, onsite content marketing service offering across all lines of business. The Manager, Digital Marketing is a key subject matter expert that helps drive the strategic and operating model agenda of the overall team specific to TD's digital content marketing strategy and key distribution channels across SEO and Onsite (TD's Public Sites).
Responsible for leading and supporting SEO, digital content governance, processes and execution onsite, from a centralized role, supporting all Lines of Business in partnership with the Digital Performance Marketing teams, Digital Channels and Digital Customer Experience Teams.
- Develop strategy for SEO & content across the holistic customer digital journey
- Measure and report on the impact of SEO & content for the organization
- Conduct research and analysis on innovative ways to do content, new content types/opportunities, and maintaining competitive landscape from a content perspective
- Set up regular touchpoints with key partners and agencies for open feedback and identify any gaps in work or opportunities for coaching
- Proactively identify key business opportunities, research and recommend enhancements / modifications, develop strategies to achieve recommendations and work closely with team to execute and implement
- Contribute to enterprise reporting insights across all channels and LOBs
- Leverage enterprise social listening and SEO capabilities to influence content and content strategy
- Find opportunities to further content distribution of programs through trends, monitoring, campaigns, etc.
- Strategic partner to leadership team on the management of digital content marketing activities across all channels and LOBs
- Provide industry expertise and enterprise knowledge, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and; identifying operational efficiencies and opportunities with other business management / enterprise areas
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree and/or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
- 8+ years relevant experience across SEO & content marketing
- Deep understanding of content for website, including the ability to manage and execute content strategies, produce and manage agile content and guide agency partners in the production of content
- Advanced knowledge of integrated communication and marketing concepts, multiple marketing disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, banking industry, and product/customer markets
- Advanced knowledge of customer and brand research techniques and ability to develop analyses and insights that will drive customer strategy formation and business decisions
- Analytical skills to evaluate research results and leverage facts to support strategy, POVs and recommendations
- Experience in storytelling, leveraging data and marketing capabilities to create, develop and present POVs
- Strategy development and management of the project as an owner
- Experience using digital marketing tools and platforms, e.g. Google Ads Manager, SEM Rush
- Communication skills with superb ability to lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to establish project/program goals and objectives that contribute to strategic direction of the function and provide advice to senior leadership
- Ability to forecast initiatives and demand in order to develop annual strategic plan
- Advanced ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of initiatives
- Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
- Ability to make an impact, influence and achieve results with effective negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
- Ability handle confidential information with discretion
