Digital Forensic Specialist

Overview

The Digital Forensic Specialist at TD works closely with internal investigative partners to support incident response and investigations related to cybercrime, fraud, and intellectual property theft. This role is part of a team that conducts sensitive investigations across North America.

Responsibilities

Key duties include forensic collection and analysis, managing digital forensic efforts, maintaining lab standards, and preparing reports. The specialist will work with Cyber Security Operations, Legal, HR, Privacy, and external law enforcement when needed.

• Lead digital evidence and cybercrime investigations
• Collect and analyze data from multiple electronic devices
• Utilize EnCase, Axiom, e-Discovery tools and others
• Develop procedures, provide training and generate reports
• Stay updated on emerging threat landscape and technologies

Job Requirements

Candidates must be proficient in digital forensic methodologies, evidence handling, and investigation reporting. Experience in using industry-standard forensic tools, operating systems (Windows, Linux, OSX), malware triage, and understanding network services is required. A university degree and professional certifications (e.g., EnCE, CISSP) are assets.
