The Chef de mêlée principal III at TD is responsible for end-to-end facilitation of agile processes and continuous improvement, acting as a change agent across work efforts. The role drives agile teams to maximize productivity, ensure proper backlog management, and adhere to established agile frameworks.
The responsibilities include:
- Facilitating agile ceremonies and ensuring team engagement.
- Championing agile practices and the TD Scaled Agile methodology.
- Identifying and managing impediments to maintain workflow.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure compliance and risk management.
- Coaching and mentoring agile teams and practitioners.
In addition, the role involves adherence to enterprise frameworks, execution of cost, timing, and scope objectives, and continuous growth of agile capabilities across the organization.
Customer, Shareholder, and Team Focus
This job requires balancing direct agile team support, strategic process improvements, and enterprise governance. It involves coordinating with control partners, managing cross-team dependencies, and delivering measurable outcomes.
Breadth & Depth
As an expert Scrum Master, the candidate will support complex agile pods, work in scaled environments, transition to higher agile coaching roles, and drive simulations, training, and community practice initiatives within TD.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a post-secondary education with Certified Scrum Master credentials and a minimum of 7 years of experience, including 2+ years in scaled agile environments. Preference is given to candidates with 7-10 years of agile experience.
