Mobile Mortgage Specialist Assistant
TD Securities is seeking a dedicated Mobile Mortgage Specialist Assistant to support mortgage specialists in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. This is a part-time role with a minimum of 15 hours per week, offering potential for up to 37.5 hours based on business needs. The position is primarily remote, allowing for flexible scheduling in partnership with your assigned Mortgage Mortgage Specialist (MMS) and Manager, MMS Assistants. You will play a crucial role in providing administrative and customer support throughout the mortgage application and credit process.
Key Accountabilities
- Customer Support: Maximize support for credit administration, maintain strong partner relationships, and effectively handle customer inquiries and issues, escalating when necessary.
- Application Processing: Gather client documentation post-MMS meeting, process credit applications accurately and efficiently, and support business timelines.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all supporting documentation is received, validated, and meets internal processes and regulatory requirements.
- Sales & Operational Support: Contribute to achieving credit quality objectives, meeting individual targets, and supporting overall business goals, including sales and operational excellence.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the mortgage suite of products and services, and adhere to the Bank Code of Conduct.
- Team Collaboration: Fully participate as a team member, promote service, quality, innovation, and teamwork, and assist colleagues as needed.
- Professional Development: Continuously enhance knowledge and expertise, participate in knowledge transfer, and actively engage in performance management and development objectives.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a client-facing and/or administrative role.
- Mortgage/credit lending experience is highly desirable.
- Superior computer and technology skills, with advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time-management skills, with a proven ability to meet or exceed timelines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Bilingualism (English/French) or other language skills are preferred.
