Job Description

Digital Marketing Manager

At TD Securities, we are seeking a highly experienced Digital Marketing Manager to champion all aspects of digital marketing within their portfolio. This role focuses on leading the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of our digital marketing capabilities, project fulfillment, and change management initiatives. You will act as a subject matter expert, ensuring alignment with the Bank's overarching marketing strategies, industry trends, market forces, and the competitive landscape.

You will collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including marketing teams, business lines, channels, and vendors, with a specific focus on enhancing the Bank's omni-channel customer experience. Identifying gaps, pain points, business needs, priorities, and future growth areas will be key. This role may also support the performance marketing team in annual planning processes and contribute to the roadmap development, execution, and improvement of crucial, best-in-class automation and marketing ecosystem technologies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

CUSTOMER

  • Act as a champion for all things digital marketing within your portfolio.
  • Lead and manage the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of digital marketing capabilities, project fulfillment, and change management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, ensuring alignment with the Bank's marketing strategies, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and develop, improving the Bank's omni-channel customer experience.
  • Identify gaps, pain points, business needs, priorities, and future growth areas, potentially supporting annual planning.
  • Ideate and build metrics, rules, processes, and support materials for other marketing teams and business lines.
  • Support the roadmap development, execution, and improvement of crucial automation/marketing ecosystem technologies.

SHAREHOLDER

  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies for business activities.
  • Ensure programs, policies, and practices are well-managed, meet business needs, and comply with requirements.
  • Exercise discretion in managing confidential information; escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Ensure business operations follow internal and external requirements (e.g., financial controls).
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives as a subject matter expert, providing risk guidance.
  • Conduct internal and external research projects; support presentations and communications.
  • Perform meaningful analysis at functional or enterprise levels to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Monitor service, productivity, and efficiency, implementing continuous improvements.
  • Lead/facilitate and/or implement actions/remediation plans for performance/risk/governance issues.
  • Actively manage relationships across business lines and functions, ensuring alignment with requirements.
  • Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements, assessing potential impacts.
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, aligned with risk appetite.

  • Leads cross-functional teams or projects with significant resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Independently manages end-to-end functional programs.
  • Solves complex problems; leads or partners in developing new solutions.
  • Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify solutions.
  • Impacts achievement of sub-function or business line objectives.
  • Work is guided by policies and industry standards/methods.
  • Communicates difficult concepts, converting information to compelling business context and advice.
  • Influences and gains alignment across increasingly senior stakeholders.
  • Works autonomously as the lead and guides others within area of expertise.
  • Generally reports to a Senior Manager or above.

Experience & Education

  • Undergraduate degree and/or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required.
  • 7+ years relevant experience.
