Position Summary

The Client Services Associate is responsible for providing exceptional support to clients and their consultants invested in TCW’s alternative investment products. The role involves managing client inquiries, preparing investor materials, overseeing operational activities, and supporting marketing and fundraising efforts for TCW’s private funds.

Essential Duties

Serve as the primary contact for clients and consultants; respond to inquiries promptly; prepare and deliver investor materials including marketing presentations, performance reports, and data analysis; manage administrative tasks such as account onboarding, transactions, and reporting; coordinate with internal departments (Distribution, Investment Operations, Compliance, Legal) to resolve issues; liaise with fund partners and administrators to support client orders; assist with marketing and fundraising cycles; support due diligence processes and manage investor data rooms; and identify process improvements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the finance industry, emphasizing client service or operations. Strong knowledge of capital markets and alternative investments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills is necessary. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities, along with high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Professional Skills & Desired Qualifications

Must be proactive, self-motivated, and a team player with a passion for providing top-notch client service. Desired qualifications include Series 7 and 63 certifications, prior experience in alternative investments client service, investor relations, fundraising, and familiarity with alternative investment platforms or CRM systems.

Work Arrangement & Compensation

Candidates are required to work from a TCW office a minimum of four days per week with flexibility for one remote day, dependent on business needs. Estimated base salary for CA & NY based positions is between $80k and $95k with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
