Overview
The Airport Operations Coordinator at TBI AIRPORT MANAGEMENT INC. performs various duties at Atlantic City Intl Airport (ACY) under general direction. Responsibilities include ramp/airfield management, airport security, tenant/public relations and public protection.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay is $22.36 per hour plus shift differential, overtime opportunities, and training certification pay increases. Employer paid health & welfare for employee and family, and employer paid pension are provided.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage ramp/airfield operations and aircraft parking.
- Monitor radios and record aircraft arrivals, departures, and data.
- Ensure compliance with CFR Part 139 and 1542 via inspections and reports.
- Issue passes, prepare incident reports, and maintain safety programs.
- Respond to tenant needs and coordinate emergency actions.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required qualifications include working all shifts for a 24/7 operation, strong communication skills, Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency, and a high school diploma (or equivalent). Must be able to obtain certifications through training programs. Preferred qualifications include a BS/AS in Aviation Management or Business Administration, customer service, and airport/aviation experience.
Physical, Medical & Licenses
- Physically able to perform tasks in variable conditions.
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
- AAAE certifications are preferred.
