Zscaler Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a dedicated Zscaler Consultant to manage and optimize Zscaler Zapp solutions. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation, deployment, and troubleshooting of Zapp client versions, working to prevent outages and maintain robust security integrations. The consultant will be responsible for continuous improvement, including bi-annual updates, release note reviews, and developing fixes for client images.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Skills
- Log tickets for unexpected errors within Zscaler, identifying symptoms of larger system issues.
- Perform daily troubleshooting and testing of Zapp client versions.
- Ensure Zapp is properly bypassed from other applications and security solutions to prevent service outages.
- Consider updating to the latest Zapp version at least bi-annually, leveraging best practices.
- Push the latest Zapp version after thorough review and deployment decision-making.
- Review release notes, compare discovered issues, and develop effective fixes for client images.
- Determine and assign users to different group policies, including initial pilot user test groups for Zapp.
- Pilot new Zapp versions with designated users before conducting broader rollouts.
- Collaborate closely with Zscaler to facilitate bi-annual Zapp version upgrades.

Compensation & Benefits
