Functional QA Tester
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Functional QA Tester with over 10 years of IT experience, specializing in Payments, Advisory, Trading, or other financial products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial domain and the ability to drive testing efforts with multiple stakeholders. This role requires excellent planning, organization, and analytical skills to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and high-quality delivery.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong familiarity with Payments, Advisory, Trading, or other financial products.
- Extensive experience in Trading/Payments/Advisory domains.
- Familiarity with ETL and batch processes.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive testing calls with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong planning and organization skills to prepare test plans and test strategy.
- Possess a strong understanding of functional requirements and the ability to derive use cases.
- Effectively perform defect reporting and participate in defect triage.
- Review business requirements, user stories, and specifications.
- Identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria to ensure complete coverage of functional requirements.
- Perform basic SQL and API testing using tools like Postman.
- Understand automation basics, preferably with Selenium or Playwright.
- Be familiar with ETL and batch processes.
