At Tata Consultancy Services, we are looking for a dedicated Business Analyst Tech Writer to join our team. This role requires a blend of strong analytical skills, technical writing proficiency, and excellent communication to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Domain - Engineering
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software projects.
• Strong technical writing skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in documentation tools (Confluence, MS Word, Markdown, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in IoT, PLM, or enterprise software domains.
• Knowledge of APIs, data modeling, and integration concepts.
• Familiarity with Jira, Rally, or similar tools.

Communication

• Excellent Communication Skills
• Ability to engage with Senior management and executives
• Ability to work with Engineering Teams and understand their requirements
• Document detailed requirements
• Create Art of possible and Status documentation
• Presentations for the executive team

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst Tech Writer, you will be responsible for:

• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
• Creating functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborating with product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment.
• Conducting gap analysis and proposing process improvements.
• Supporting UAT and ensuring requirements traceability.
• Preparing clear and concise technical documentation (SRS, BRD, API docs, user manuals).
• Maintaining documentation standards and version control.
• Translating complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Creating diagrams, workflows, and process maps using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
• Ensuring compliance with organizational and industry documentation standards.
