About the AWS Solutions Architect Role
The AWS Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in compliance with customer requirements. This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders, development teams, and operations to ensure that cloud architecture aligns with organizational goals and best practices.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM
- Experience with highly available and fault-tolerant architectures (HADR)
- Expertise in migrating on-premises workloads to AWS
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of serverless architectures and DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines
- Proficient networking, security best practices, and automation tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Availability for occasional travel and after-hours support for critical deployments
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS cloud architectures for applications and services.
- Develop migration strategies for moving on-premises workloads to AWS.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with development teams for AWS service integration.
- Optimize AWS resources for cost efficiency and scalability.
- Create architecture diagrams, documentation, and best practice guidelines.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on AWS solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and recommend solutions.
- Stay updated on AWS innovations and recommend their adoption.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000 per annum.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Computer Science is required.
