AWS Cloud Infra Architect at Tata Consultancy Services
As an AWS Cloud Infra Architect, you will design end-to-end cloud infrastructure architectures focused on high availability, scalability, security, and performance. This role requires strong exposure to a wide array of cloud components and services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, Serverless, Load Balancing, Autoscaling, Cloud Monitoring, and Logging.
You will be responsible for evaluating and recommending cloud services, tools, and technologies to meet business needs. A key aspect of this role involves leading infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
The position also entails architecting robust networking solutions, encompassing VPC design, routing, private connectivity, and hybrid integrations, alongside a strong understanding of various virtualized networking components on Cloud. You will design resilient systems with comprehensive disaster recovery, backup, and fault-tolerance strategies.
Ensuring compliance with both organizational and regulatory requirements is crucial, as is establishing guardrails for cloud usage, cost control, and operational excellence. You will provide architectural guidance and technical mentorship to team members, review designs, participate in architecture boards, and approve infrastructure changes. Continuous monitoring of usage trends and recommending cost optimization strategies are also part of your responsibilities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred)
- Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability patterns
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Exposure to GenAI/RAG tools
