What can you expect in an IT Applications Analyst, Workday role with TaskUs:
Think of yourself as someone who will understand the end-to-end business process and design medium to complex Workday enhancements.
Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that you will be the SME for business requests and incidents. You will also participate in analyzing business requirements, and determine the root cause of an issue while proposing the best solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tier 2 and 3 support for any business requests and incidents
- Understand the end-to-end business process.
- Determine the root cause of an issue and propose the needed solution.
- Participate in analyzing business requirements - includes scoping, discovery meetings and work estimation.
- Design and implement medium to complex Workday enhancements.
- Create and maintain project documentation - includes root cause and solution or technical design.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Can work independently with very minimal supervision needed.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending trainings and workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of IT professional administrative and analytical experience which must have included root cause analysis, risk assessment and recommending solution.
- 2 years hands on experience with any ticketing/tracking tools like Manage Engine / Service Now / JIRA.
- At least 4 years configuration experience and solid hands-on exposure with any of the Workday Modules such as Core HCM, Security, Performance Management, Compensation or Time and Absence.
- At least 3 Years of experience from scratch to finish implementation experience enabling the following functional areas and/or business processes such as Hire, Onboarding, Employee Transfers, Termination, Performance review, Goal setting, Compensation review and the like.
- Experienced with Workday objects like: Business Process, Domain Policies, Security roles and groups, Setup Tasks, Workday Documents, Simple and Advanced Reporting including calculated fields, Performance Review Templates, Rating Scales and Calibration or Compensation plans and Merit process and calculations.
- Average to Advanced knowledge and/or practice of SDLC like Waterfall or Scrum methodology.
- Average knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office or GSuite or similar software.
- Average to Advanced project management and organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Clear and effective verbal, written, communication, interpersonal, presentation skills with proven business analytical skills.
Work Location / Work Schedule / Travel:
- WFH Setup, onsite as needed
- Day to Mid Shift Schedule
- Open to any location in India but willing to travel to Chennai office as necessary
