About the Role

At Taskify, our organization is building the AI that builds teams—developing large-scale machine learning models that predict real-world job performance more accurately than traditional interviews. As a Software Engineer II, you will work on high-impact projects that ship to production weekly. You’ll contribute across a modern stack of Python, Go, and React/Next.js, helping build microservices that support real-time ranking, analytics, and multi-million-dollar financial operations. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with senior engineers and help scale AI-driven systems that are transforming global hiring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy scalable microservices and distributed backend systems using Python and Go.
  • Develop and maintain React/Next.js components for high-performance web applications.
  • Contribute to AI-powered tools for real-time candidate ranking, interview insights, and workflow automation.
  • Write production-quality code, tests, and documentation that meet rigorous reliability standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert user feedback into product improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance profiling to optimize system efficiency.

Qualifications / Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience. Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or React/Next.js. Excellent understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design. Ability to iterate quickly—prototype, test, and deliver in fast-paced environments. Strong communication skills and an ownership-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Exposure to AI, LLMs, or retrieval-based systems.
  • Prior experience in high-growth startups or product-focused engineering teams.

Work Arrangement & Salary

Work Location is Hybrid / Remote within India – flexible working arrangements available. Annual Salary Range: 45,000 - 60,000 USD depending on experience and qualifications.
