Why This Role Exists

At Taskify, we believe the foundation of AI safety is high-quality human data. Models can’t evaluate themselves — they need humans who apply structured judgment to complex, nuanced outputs. We’re building a flexible pod of Safety specialists from both technical and non-technical backgrounds to annotate and evaluate AI behaviors and ensure system safety. No prior annotation experience is necessary. We seek people able to make careful, consistent decisions even when situations are ambiguous. This role may involve reviewing AI outputs on sensitive topics such as bias, misinformation, or harmful behaviors. All work is text-based, and participation in higher-sensitivity projects is optional, supported by clear guidelines and wellness resources.

What You’ll Do

• Produce high-quality human data by annotating AI outputs against safety criteria such as bias, misinformation, disallowed content, and unsafe reasoning.
• Apply harm taxonomies and guidelines consistently, even in ambiguous situations.
• Document your reasoning to improve annotation guidelines.
• Collaborate to provide human data powering AI safety research, model improvements, and risk audits.

Who You Are

You are experienced in risk management, compliance programs, or security audits. You are familiar with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or FedRAMP and proficient in building or applying audit checklists, dashboards, and trust center evidence. You are detail-oriented and methodical in tracking risks and ensuring control adherence. Typical past roles include Risk Analyst, Compliance Manager, GRC Specialist, Security Auditor, Information Assurance Analyst, IT Risk Consultant, Risk & Compliance Officer, and Controls Testing Analyst.

Success in this Safety Risk & Compliance Specialist role means accurate and consistent annotations even in ambiguous cases, early surfacing of risks missed by automated tools, feedback that improves guidelines and taxonomies, and data contributions that strengthen AI model safety and compliance directly.

Additional Information
