About the Role

Join a leading AI research lab and contribute to building the next generation of foundational medical AI models as a Medical Consultant. You will work directly with frontier AI teams to design, evaluate, and refine tasks in complex medical domains such as molecular biology, genetics, imaging, novel therapeutics, robotics, rare diseases, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide AI research teams to close knowledge gaps and enhance model reasoning.
  • Develop annotation standards, evaluation frameworks, and rigorous clinical rubrics.
  • Design domain-specific tasks and create gold-standard solutions.
  • Review AI-generated outputs; provide structured feedback for accuracy.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure consistency and depth in training datasets.

Qualifications / Skills Required

  • MD or DO from a reputable institution, or a PhD in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of clinical practice or research experience.
  • Advanced expertise and leadership in a sub-specialty with strong domain contributions.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Additional Details

  • Long-term engagement of 6–12 months.
  • Flexible weekly commitment of 10–40 hours.
  • Participate in 2–5 calibration or coordination calls weekly.
  • Direct influence on the development of high-impact medical AI systems.
