Join a leading frontier AI research lab as a Mathematics Specialist. This short-term, high-impact project is designed for PhD students, post-docs, and early career researchers to advance AI capabilities by developing, evaluating, and providing feedback on advanced mathematical problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design novel, graduate-level problems in pure and applied mathematics.
  • Evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, clarity, and rigor.
  • Identify logical gaps or incomplete reasoning in proofs.
  • Provide structured feedback and generate complete, correct solutions.
  • Maintain the highest standards of mathematical precision and difficulty.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Current PhD student, post-doc, or recent PhD graduate (<5 years).
  • Expertise in algebra, geometry, combinatorics, number theory, analysis, probability, or related fields.
  • High proficiency in LaTeX for mathematical documentation.
  • Strong written communication and ability to articulate complex reasoning.
  • Detail-oriented, independent, and disciplined work approach.

Project Details

This is a remote, flexible schedule opportunity with an expected commitment of 20–40 hours per week over approximately 10 weeks, with potential extension. Weekly contractor payments will be processed via Stripe Connect.
