The Expert Math & Statistics AI Tutor at Taskify collaborates with a leading AI lab to refine foundational AI models. This remote, part-time role leverages deep subject expertise to guide research teams, create annotation standards, and evaluate math reasoning across specialties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide research teams and close knowledge gaps.
  • Create and maintain precise annotation standards.
  • Develop detailed rubrics and evaluation frameworks.
  • Design domain-relevant Math tasks and well-structured solutions.
  • Evaluate tasks and provide clear written feedback.
  • Collaborate with other SMEs for consistency in training data.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Master’s or Ph.D. in Mathematics or Statistics from a top-tier university along with at least 3 years in a math-centric role. Deep expertise in areas such as algebra, calculus, probability, and more is required. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications & Work Details

  • Experience in AI model development or educational content.
  • Able to work in a remote, fast-paced research environment.
  • Commitment of 20–40 hours per week with calibration calls during PST hours.
  • Initial 18-week engagement with possibility for extension.
