About the Role
Join the cutting edge of AI research by partnering with a top AI lab’s GenAI team to build foundational AI models from the ground up. Taskify is seeking talented Chemistry subject-matter experts with an advanced degree (M.S. or PhD) to bring deep domain expertise and elevate the quality of AI training data.
What You’ll Do
- Guide research teams to close domain knowledge gaps and improve AI performance in Chemistry.
- Develop and maintain precise annotation standards tailored to Chemistry.
- Create detailed rubrics and evaluation frameworks for AI model reasoning.
- Design challenging, domain-relevant Chemistry problems and write accurate solutions.
- Evaluate Chemistry tasks and solutions with clear, written feedback.
- Collaborate asynchronously with other Chemistry SMEs to ensure consistent quality.
Qualifications
M.S. or PhD in Chemistry or a related field from a top university. At least 2+ years of professional experience; familiarity with AI concepts is a plus. Expertise in various Chemistry disciplines such as organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, biochemistry, cheminformatics, or quantum chemistry is valued. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Project Details
- Start immediately for a duration of 1–2 months.
- Commitment: ~20 hours/week (with potential extension to 40 hours/week).
- Remote, asynchronous, flexible working hours.
- Compensation: $65–$85 per hour, paid daily via Stripe Connect as an independent contractor.
